Project Officer - (Non-Civil Service)
Job Description
(a) To provide policy research and support services; (b) to assist in organizing and managing events; (c) to liaise with community organizations; (d) to assist in collating public opinion and providing response; and (e) to assist in planning and implementing IT-related projects.
Requirements
Candidates should (a) have a good honours degree from a local university or equivalent; (b) have good command of Chinese and English, both spoken and written; and (c) possess IT-related knowledge and skills. Working experience in community liaison, media or corporate communications is an advantage.

Notes: The staff may be required to work outside normal office hours.

Terms of Appointment: The successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 18 months.
Remuneration
Salary: $23,000 - $27,000 per month (see General Notes (c))

Fringe Benefits: (a) 12 days annual leave whereas rest days, statutory holidays, sickness allowance and maternity leave (where appropriate) will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. (b) A gratuity may be granted if the contract is satisfactorily completed with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary received during the contract period.
